Ô FB05C0611B à Book Å Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) Å Rebecca Zanetti AA05BEEE35 Unswerving: Angus Force is determined to hunt down the serial k Angus Force is determined to hunt down the serial killer he'd once shot deador so he thought But an anonymous source reports that Lassiter is alive Force hasn't slept since, knowing it's only a matter of time before the Surgeon strikes again And soon, a body is found, bearing Lassiter's same maniacal MO It's just the beginning of a murderous trail blazing through DC and Virginia, right to Force's backyard Unstoppable: Nari Zhang is book Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) Å Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) Å Rebecca Zanetti the shrink for the ragtag Deep Ops Unit, though she isn't Force's shrinkwhich is a very good thing Because once they're thrown together on the case, their attraction is explosive and irresistible They'll just have to fight that much harder to keep the heat between them from flaming out of control But things are about to become far challenging, and deadly, than they could have imagined Unhinged: Once the killer catches a glimpse of Nari, she becomes his new obsession She is now the focus pointfor both Force and Lassiterin a dangerous dance for survival
We always knew Angus and Nari would be an explosive mix and their chemistry has been percolating in the background over the last few books Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) They may pretend the other doesn't exist from time to time but they have each others back when it counts!Angus is suffering, not so quietly, with PTSD He is functioning alcoholic with a slight fixation on a serial killer that he thinks may have resurfaced Nari was sent to keep an eye on the team and has never denied it but she had her own reasons to serve penance with the HDD rejects She has her own family issues to deal with it's not easy when your boss is also your estranged BioDad!Is Henry Lassiter really alive? Does he have an acolyte copycat? Or is someone trying to finally send Angus over the edge? Whoever is hunting Angus is now making very personal, he's killing females who resemble team members Angus is ready to set the world on fire to pro I'm so happy to see Angus getting the respect he deserved from the very beginning Driven was everything I was hoping it would be for his story There was a lot to prove here and I think the author did a fantastic job of wrapping it all up I'm not sure if that means this series is ending, but I really hope it's not She really could keep these guys going for , but now they will have the backup they truly deserve Plus, we gotta get Jethro's story! Each book Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) is a standalone but I do highly recommend starting with book Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) one Angus is the beginning of everything for this series and the reason why we got this ragtag team in the first place You learn so much about each individual character in their own book Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) You won't understand what it truly means for each of
I have been craving the story of Angus Force ever since I read Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) my copy of Hidden He was brooding, damaged, and full of demons Once the FBI's top profiler, a serial killer turned his entire world upside down A bottle of booze, his faithful hound, and an isolated spot in Kentucky were all he needed to be content Then he's pulled right back into the world he successfully escaped and that's how the deep dark secret of the HDD, the best team to take out the world's worst nightmares, was created.
For three books Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) , Angus has been absolutely certain that Lassiter, the serial killer who ruined his life, the abomination he had killed, was very much alive Too bad no one believes him When the first body turns up with a twisted form of the killer's signature, everyone believes it's the work of a copycat Even Nari, the one woman he would love to claim 3.
5 starsThe Deep Ops series is one where a ragtag crew (with their own quirks that sometimes straddle the unbelievable) battle the little things that go wrong, but 'Driven' feels a bitlike a police procedural gone rogue Angus Force and Nari Zhang have had some sort of tension in Rebecca Zanetti's previous books Driven (Deeps Ops, #4) in the series and 'Driven' is their story, where the catalyst that brings them together is the return of a serial killer that has long haunted Angus dreams The premise is certainly quite an unusual one that kept me reading: the mutual preoccupation of Angus Force and the serial killer Lassiter that dates all the way back to Angus's FBI profiling days and the fateful day that his sister got caught in Lassiter's net Except that Lassiter's supposed to be deaduntil dead bodies of women who resemble the team members in Angus's crew start turning up
